The project series (un)do explores processes of healing through mind embodiment, highlighting the importance of physical, emotional, and mental body alignment for positive wellbeing.
Phase 0 presented interactive installations. Phase 1 presents a performance that serves as an introduction, demonstrating this immersive experience. As a collaborative project, new artists in choreography, sound production, and costume design were invited to assist with shaping the immersive world of (un)do. The transdisciplinary performance offers a free space for creativity, exploration, and exchange while experiencing mind-body connection during the design process.
A dancer’s motion generates an interactive soundscape and immersive cymatic patterns. The design enacts mirroring exercises used in movement therapy, enhancing empathy between performer and audience. Live verbal narration provides an added layer of immersion in the creation of a unique experience.
The performance does not just tell a story but creates deep resonance through an immersive environment enabled by mind embodiment. Future phases will explore the use of different media and involve public participation.
